Description:
•Compiles payroll data, such as hours worked, benefit time taken, unpaid hours, and retroactive payments to be withheld from time sheets and other records.
•Prepares computer input forms and enters data into the payroll service bureau’s computer files.
•Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll.
•Maintains records of employee benefit hours.
•Inputs data from Institute for preparation and issuing of paychecks.
•Prepares payroll journal entries.
•Satisfies union reporting requirements including pension, annuity, health insurance, and union dues reports.
•Interprets company policies and union policies affecting payroll procedures.
•Reconciles working and benefit hours and transmits payroll to Paypro for IFH, ABC, and CFM.
•Reconciles and prepares employee benefit reports for payment of: pension benefits, union dues and other employee benefits.
•Prepares cash from sites for bank deposits and compiles cash deposit schedules.
Qualifications:
•BA/BBA in Accounting/ Finance preferred
•Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in finance required.
•Demonstrated experience with an automated time and attendance system, and processing payroll preferred.
•Demonstrated finance and accounting skills.
•Demonstrated computer, communication, interpersonal, supervisory, leadership, and organizational skills.
