THE ROLE: PAYROLL AND BENEFITS COORDINATOR (NY)

The Payroll & Benefits Coordinator will join the People Team at Levain Bakery to support payroll processing and benefits administration. This role will report to the Senior Director of Payroll & Benefits.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with payroll processing and administration for employee benefits programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in a related role, strong attention to detail, and excellent organization and communication skills.

What you’ll do:

• Assist Payroll Manager with high-volume, multi-state, weekly payroll.
• Audit weekly pay reports and variances.
• Respond to and resolve payroll and benefits-related inquiries from employees.
• Maintain employee payroll and benefits files.
• Assist with employee benefits orientations.
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of W-2 forms and other year-end responsibilities.
• Review benefits invoices to ensure accurate and prompt payment.
• Produce payroll and benefits-related reports as requested.
• Open, sort, and respond to all incoming mail.
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities consistent with the role.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with UKG Ready is preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with Excel.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong?attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.?

Compensation:

• $70,000 - $80,000 plus 10% Annual bonus potential
