The Crown at Hotel 50 Bowery is Hiring a Porter Near New York, NY

This entails a dual role, encompassing responsibilities as both a porter and a bathroom attendant.You will play a pivotal role in upholding cleanliness standards and ensuring a positive experience for patrons.This position involves maintaining the cleanliness of the restroom facilities, assisting with general cleanliness in the bar area, and providing exceptional customer service. We are hiring for two of our locations The Campbell and The Crown.

Responsibilities:• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of restroom facilities throughout the shift.• Regularly check and restock essential supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels.• Monitor and promptly address any plumbing issues or facility malfunctions.• Greet patrons as they enter the restroom area and provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.• Offer assistance and provide exceptional customer service to address any patron needs or concerns.• Sweep, mop, and sanitize restroom and bar area floors regularly.• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.• Wipe down and sanitize surfaces, including countertops, mirrors, and door handles.• Collaborate with bar staff to maintain overall cleanliness in the bar area.• Assist in clearing empty glasses and dishes from tables when necessary.• Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized environment.• Report any maintenance or cleanliness issues to the management team promptly.• Communicate effectively with other staff members to ensure a seamless operation.Qualifications:• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.• Excellent communication and customer service skills.• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry cleaning supplies.
