Media Sales Assistant – KGKC Telemundo Kansas City

Telemundo Kansas City is seeking a Media Sales Assistant to support our TV operations in Kansas City, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Portland, OR and any future Telemundo or Spanish-language stations. The position is based in Kansas City, Missouri.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs administrative functions supporting sales operations for all current and future Telemundo stations
• Executes order entry and traffic instruction application
• Inputs client and agency profiles in traffic software
• Provides reporting to sales team members and clients including pacing reports, invoices, spot times, and other
• Supports all other account maintenance tasks including pre-emptions, makegoods, credit/discrepancy reports, and manual invoicing
• Inputs and maintains programming and rate cards in proposal-building software
• Assists in sales presentation and proposal building
• Works closely with other station departments and performs other assisting duties as assigned
• Performs other office administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• Minimum 1 year experience in administrative support; sales support experience a plus
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Tech Savvy; skilled in using office equipment, devices, and other technology
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with media software such as OSI-Adconnections or WideOrbit-Media Sales a plus
• Bilingual with the ability to speak, read and write in both English and Spanish a plus
