AFCO Industries, Inc., an employee-owned company with over 70 years of continuous growth is looking for an energetic, creative professional to join our sales team as Territory Sales Manager. AFCO, a nationally-known building products manufacturer, is headquartered in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Job Summary:
The role of the Territory Sales Manager is ultimately to grow business within the assigned geographic territory (Kansas, Missouri, Southern Illinois) through a combination of growth with existing accounts and gaining new accounts as applicable throughout the territory.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary will depend on experience, plus commission

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Solicitation of new building material wholesale distribution and retail accounts
- Management of current accounts
- Assist in marketing strategy for new products
- Product training for distributors, retailers and installers
- Knowledge of the building material distribution business preferred
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- 75% travel
- Excellent communication skills
- Technical “hands on” aptitude is a plus
- Computer/internet literate
- Relocation not required (if living in the posted territory)
Education:
- Bachelor of Science preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of three years outside sales experience preferred.
