Description:
Main job would be answering phones and they work off of 4 separate systems. They need to learn all those systems. They go into a bucket and the system distributes it evenly. Patients or providers call in and they are inquiring about accounts. Some will be payments and others will be insurance information. Read their account and understand what is going on. They need to understand EOBs and answer professionally and note every account. They have to notate each account to what they are doing. - Follow ups may also be required. Otherwise they have to send it in writing. They have to send an update or generate ledgers on the account and type up the resolution to what they were requiring. - They can take around 25 calls per day. Sometimes up to 32 calls per day. - In between those calls, they can do collections, refunds, reviewing payments

1 years experience in customer serviceAbility to use 10-key Typing 30 WPM- Nextech, Modmed, advanced MD, Clinics. - Customer service has to learn all of them. - Training for 3 weeks on the systems and learning from shadowing. Taking notes and learning the system and then they will get fake accounts to go in and out of. Then they listen to calls and then they will act like they are taking a call. - High school diploma, accounting is always preferred, Ideally EOB but they can train on that.
