teKnoluxion Consulting, LLC is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Washington, DC

Overview

Location: This is a remote, work-from-home position. Candidates must live in one of the following states: CO, DC, FL, MD, MO, SD, TX, or VA

teKnoluxion provides the Defense and Intelligence Communities technical experts in the fields of Software & Systems Engineering, Enterprise Operations, and Cloud Services Management & Consulting. Our goal is not to simply support efforts, but to ignite a technology revolution, bridging the growing technology gap between the Government and commercial space.

Responsibilities

What you get to do every day:

  • You’ll make the candidate journey for potential teKnoluxion team members the best it can be
  • The primary responsibility of this position is driving a smooth recruitment process for the sourcing and recruiting of direct-hire openings. Types of positions range from technical (engineering) professionals and management in the information technology field
  • Source to identify technical talent to support various contracts
  • Review resumes, conduct initial chats, and ensure candidates share teKnoluxion values
  • You’ll use negotiation skills along with a creative and positive mindset to remove blockers
  • Develop a talent pipeline to assist long-term with hiring and retention
  • Utilize multiple internet resources, including job boards and social media
  • Track and manage ATS system (knowledge of iCIMS is a plus) to move candidates through various hiring stages
  • Convey teKnoluxion’s benefits and “sell” the company, and apply best practices in a friendly way
  • Network with potential candidates to promote teKnoluxion, and attract the best professionals
  • Be a brand ambassador to represent teKnoluxion to candidates and team members
  • Assist with projects, and other administrative tasks
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What skills do you need?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience
  • Minimum 1 year recruiting experience
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques including internet and social media (training can be provided)
  • Experience or willingness to learn screening and interviewing candidates
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with all levels in the organization
  • Ability to manage, protect, and maintain confidential information
  • Capability to learn and adhere to teKnoluxion brand standards and marketing practices
  • Ability to multi-task and change courses quickly without compromising accuracy
  • Problem-solving skills and able to identify solutions through research
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Committed and dependable

What is ideal?

  • Experience recruiting for all levels of positions in an IT environment; cleared recruiting is a plus

  • Compensation is unique to each candidate. The starting salary for this position is typically between $50k and $90k per year, plus potential performance-based bonus. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation packages are based on education, experience, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above stated range.
