Overview: 

The goal of the Seventh Sense Consulting summer internship program is to enhance a student’s education through this part-time (up to 20 hours a week) 8-week paid program. We will provide exposure to all levels of leadership within Talent Acquisition and Recruitment.

• Understanding of how Talent Acquisition (TA) and Human Resources (HR) support Seventh Sense Consulting’s mission 
• Understanding of government contracting 
• Enhanced software skills, hands on use of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) ApplicantStack and other recruiting applications 
• Sourcing for potential new hires 
• Legal and ethical issues in recruitment 
• Recruitment branding and marketing 
• Importance of corporate culture 
• Project Management and meeting deadlines 
• Corporate communication 
• Strategic planning 
• Reasoning and analytical skills 

 
Responsibilities: 

• Learn about the full lifecycle recruiting process
• ​​​Identify active and passive candidates from various sources 
• Source and screen candidates for active open positions via email and phone 
• Special projects including research, data gathering, recommendations, and/or presentations 

 
Qualifications/Education: 

• Must be a rising Senior or graduate student pursuing a degree in Business Administration (concentration in Human Resource Management strongly preferred)
• Must be able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in the handling of confidential information 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Must be open to speaking on the phone with prospective candidates
• Business acumen 
• Demonstrated abilities in multitasking and time management
