CR Fletcher is partnering with a local law firm, which continues to grow. Seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy practice. Duties: - Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases -Assist in the preparation of legal documents trials and hearings -Responsible for arranging meetings, scheduling, keeping calendars, assisting with the filing of forms, correspondence, etc. - Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings - Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning ad organizing documents -Adhere to ethical and professional standards, maintaining client confidentiality. Requirements - Associates degree or Bachelors degree preferred Must have familiarity with litigation process, State and Federal E-Filing, knowledge of motions, pleadings, orders, petitions, and memorandums of law. -Candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. -Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role - Familiarity with legal case management software and docket management - Proficient in conducting legal research and drafting legal documents
Salary: 52,000 - 60,000 DOE
