We are a full line supplier of fluid and motion control products and systems. We are seeking a motivated self-starter in our Customer Service/ Inside Sales group. This position will be reporting to the Lead for the Customer Service Department. Our mission is to provide superior customer service not only to our direct customers, but also to our vendors and to the rest of the team.
Job Summary:
The customer service position is part of several team members who are the frontline people to answer inbound calls and inbound emails to a shared email address. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter, professional, detail-oriented with efficient follow through.
Responsibilities include:
· Provide exceptional customer service through email & phone interaction
· Provide detailed customer quotes utilizing CRM tools including vendor portal access
· Process orders in a timely manner, ensuring maximum profitability and accuracy
· Perform lead follow up by outbound calls and emails
· Input and update customer information into our CRM
· Qualify leads and existing customers, continually looking for opportunities to escalate them into OEM business for value added projects
· Commit to scheduled work hours to ensure prompt response and availability to customers
· Communicate effectively in a professional manner
· Interact with our engineering team for value added business
· Possess technical aptitude towards the product lines offered
· Provide support to outside sales personnel
· Expedite orders when necessary
· Troubleshoot customer problems, short ships, delays, etc.
· Learn RMA process and create RMA when necessary
· Participate in ongoing products and systems training
· Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications include:
· 2-5 years Inside Sales experience or similar experience working in distribution or manufacturing.
· Strong computer, CRM, web-based systems skills. NetSuite experience a plus
· Technologically savvy
· Strong work ethic
· Positive attitude and good sense of humor
· Must be a team player and utilize emails, phone, inter-office chat, and web-based meetings to communicate and collaborate effectively
