Job Summary
Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of a multi-year program to develop an Armed Forces Airborne Doctrine Program to enable the planning, preparation, execution, and assessment of Joint Airborne Operations. The Project Team will be comprised of highly trained and experienced former military professionals located in country and a pool of working remotely. The Project Manager will coordinate and synchronize the activities of the on-site team with the pool of remote personnel to produce the required doctrine products.
This position requires tactical and operational experience, as well as developing unit capabilities to achieve organizational mandates and missions. Areas of focus for capability development include Joint Fires, Targeting, Rigging, Logistics and Health Planning, Air Defense, and Airfield Opening. Experience applying the DOTMILBIE framework to assess the existing organizational design, identify capability gaps, and formulate solutions is desired. The Project Manager must be familiar with Joint Airborne Operations, Air Assault Operations, Special Operations, and how these concepts and capabilities can be scaled and adapted to support establishing the desired client capabilities.
