The selectedcandidate will be responsible to perform daily Urgent CarePhysician duties including but not limitedto :

• Providediagnostic healthcare services to patients of allages
• Takemedical histories examine patients order diagnostic testinginterpret test results make diagnoses create treatmentplans
• Performminor surgical procedures including laceration repair incision anddrainage and foreign bodyremoval
• Performsplinting and casting for minor orthopedicinjuries
• Conductfollow up calls to patients; handle incoming patient pharmacy orphysiciancalls

Requirements

• MedicalDoctor (MD) orDoctor
• BoardCertified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Urgent Care andInternal Medicine (with urgentcare)
• Successfulcompletion of an approved residency trainingprogram.
• ActiveLicense
• CurrentNew York State Medical PractitionerLicense
• CurrentDrug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS)registration for prescriptionwriting.
• UrgentCare or Emergency Departmentexperience
• Bilingual(Spanish / English) is a plus but not arequirement
