JobSummary : The PhysicalTherapist isresponsible for evaluating physical therapy needs and implementingcomprehensive medically prescribed physical therapy treatment toassigned patients in a supervises program of rehabilitation.
TheLicensed Physical Therapist will establish and administer atreatment program with specific goals focused to the patientscapacity and tolerance and set realistic and achievable goals forpatients.
Responsibilities
- Documentand record the patients condition and educate patients and familiesin a suitable physical therapymethod
- InitialAssessment and Evaluation of Physical Therapy needs forspecifically assigned patientpopulations.
- Reviewsmedical chart to ascertain important medical information andclarifiesreferral
- Selectsappropriate assessment tools and methods in order to accuratelydetermine the patients status for developing optimal treatmentplan.
Treatment orders if necessary for unfamiliardiagnosis
Developsand implements discharge plan in conjunction with patient carepartners and other members of the careteam.
Requirements
- BachelorsDegree in PhysicalTherapy.
- Goodcommunication and interpersonalskills.
- 01years experience as a PhysicalTherapist.
- Bilingualfluent Spanish strongly preferred
