TDC Brand is Hiring an Insurance Project Coordinator Near New York, NY

The position is to assist the department in maintaining HRA’s Risk Management Information System. Insurance Project Coordinator will perform data entry, build and run exposure reports, enter select claim information, perform certificate issuance and collaborate with client managers to assist with client service needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work within the departments Risk Management Information System for the following but not limited to:

  • Exposure management
  • Renewal data uploads
  • Policy management
  • Maintain accurate schedules of insurance
  • Administrative task of redacting policies
  • Client system user training
  • Client system user management to include password resets
  • Certificate of insurance issuance - supporting both client and internal request process
  • Upload renewal batch certificates throughout the year
  • Assist HRA claim advocate with new and updated claim information
  • Work with the client hierarchy changes

2. Participate in HRA’s insurer coverage marketing and renewal briefings.

3. Ability to work flexible hours.

4. Performs other duties or special projects as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

  • Pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, or related field of study. Preference is Risk Management/Insurance studies.
  • Sophomore or Junior 3.4 or higher cumulative GPA

Experience Required:

  • Prior insurance industry experience
  • Customer Relationship Management software experience preferred.

Competencies:

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and editing skills.
  • Positive, hard-working attitude along with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Advanced Excel skills to work with vast amounts of client data.
  • Good PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to understand the level of urgency and importance of a request in relation to business needs and respond appropriately.
  • Demonstrated technical problem solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Proven attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-starter, committed to excellence, willing to take ownership of responsibilities; possesses high level of positive energy and drive.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, and the ability to follow through with task completion.
