Talus Payments is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Consultant

Job Summary: 

We are looking for talented, energetic, and competitive inside sales representatives. An inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving revenue growth objectives and client retention. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day to both new and existing customers, listening to their business needs, and finding a solution to solve those needs. You will work closely with channel partners to generate interest and close sales.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls and emails 
  • Upsell existing merchants to solution packages and alternative pricing structures 
  • Perform discovery sessions with new and existing clients 
  • Close sales and achieve monthly and quarterly targets 
  • Research accounts, identify decision makers and generate interest 
  • Partner closely with sales leaders, sales support, and client services 
  • Execute online demos to existing clients and prospects 
  • Develop and maintain solutions focused knowledge base through ongoing training and industry education 

 Required Skills and Abilities: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with solid obstacle navigation abilities 
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines 
  • Proven inside sales experience in merchant services 
  • Track record of over-achieving quotas and KPI’s 
  • Strong phone presence and experience using an automated dialer
  • Salesforce or similar CRM experience 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite or related software 

 Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience, required. 
  • At least 2 years of inside sales experience in merchant services or similar industry
