Talent Systems is Hiring a Marketing Coordinator Near Los Angeles, CA

*This is a hybrid position, working 2-3 days out of our office located in Koreatown - Relocation is unfortunately not provided for this role.*

Job Purpose: Talent Systems is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to streamline our daily activities and support the Marketing team across our North American lines of business. The Marketing Coordinator will play a pivotal role on the team, from crafting executive-level marketing reports and coordinating our monthly employee newsletter to building customer-facing marketing assets in our casting platforms to ensuring smooth internal communication and organization across all marketing channels. If you're a detail-oriented multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced role that demands both strategic oversight and tactical management, and you want to learn the ropes of a marketing organization from the ground up, this role is for you. 

This role reports to the SVP of Marketing 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Facilitate the creation of an executive-facing monthly Marketing performance report across channels and brands, aggregating content from various stakeholders, formatting the deck, and publishing it for distribution to the Talent Systems Leadership team. 
  • Coordinate, build, and deploy a monthly employee newsletter, including collecting updates from multiple departments, formatting and copy editing the content, building the template in our email platform, Braze, and deploying the newsletter to all Talent Systems employees.
  • Manage and organize the Marketing shared drive, creating an easy-to-understand index of files, ensuring file naming conventions are consistent, and saving all documents in the appropriate locations.
  • Assist Marketing Analyst with reporting work, including data entry from Google Sheets to Google Slides, downloading and formatting reports from paid advertising platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok), pulling campaign metrics from our cross-channel marketing platform and entering them into report templates, and delivering ad copy and images to our paid media agency.
  • Partner with Marketing Directors and Marketing Analyst to build and deploy customer-facing in-platform messages supporting campaigns, sales, and promotions. 
  • File monthly expense reports for SVP, Marketing, including tracking and managing invoices and receipts across the Marketing team, understanding the allocation of spend across various lines of business, and ensuring adherence to monthly and annual budgets.
  • Partner with our external web development agency to request and project manage changes to and maintenance of our corporate website.
  • Manage Marketing’s internal Slack channel with the Customer Support team, fielding questions, referring inquiries to the appropriate member of the Marketing team, and supporting requests as needed.
  • Manage multiple Marketing inboxes, including daily monitoring of inbound emails and answering or referring them to the appropriate person at the Company as needed. 
  • Order branded merch for partners and in-person events in partnership with the Events Coordinator.
  • Assist Marketing team with running campaigns and surveys, fulfilling participation incentives, sourcing testimonials, and facilitating consent documentation.
  • Partner with Marketing Designer to ensure all branded assets (logos, style guides, presentation decks, partner assets) are up-to-date, organized, and available to the global Marketing team as needed.
  • Provide copyediting and QA support to the Marketing team across multiple assets, including articles, blog posts, and email templates.
  • Assist content team with simple graphics formatting and image selection for articles.
  • Perform regular checks for SEO team to see if our promo code pages are being indexed so that we can request removal. 

Qualifications & Attributes: 

  • Minimum 1-2 years of general marketing or marketing administrative experience
  • Must be self-sufficient, organized, and able to gather and analyze information to develop efficient and effective solutions to business challenges
  • Excellent copywriting, spelling, grammar and communication skills for internal audiences at all levels of the organization as well as for customer-facing messaging
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides, including data entry and formatting reports, documentation, and presentations
  • Strong comfort level with digital marketing, technology, and business terminology and metrics, enabling you to interface with all levels and disciplines within the organization
  • Efficient, highly-productive multitasker with the ability to navigate ambiguity and eager to learn
  • Experience working at a fast-paced technology company is a plus
  • Must live within the greater Los Angeles area and be willing to work a hybrid schedule with two in-office days each week
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, PR, Advertising or related field preferred
