Talent Systems is Hiring a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist Near Los Angeles, CA

Job Purpose: The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist will support the growth marketing strategy for Staff Me Up, Cast It Reach and Cast It. An experienced professional and passionate growth marketer, you will contribute to digital marketing initiatives that drive audience engagement, consideration and subscriber growth across our SaaS subscription platforms. You will leverage your understanding of SEO, digital advertising and website best practices to create, manage and execute campaigns and on-site projects. 

This role reports to the Director of Marketing, Content & SEO 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Contribute to growth marketing, paid media, SEO, reporting and analytics to increase paying customers on our platforms.
  • Propel subscriber growth through conversion funnel testing and optimization, managing project requirements, tactical execution, tracking, and measurement.
  • Work with Director, Marketing to develop A/B tests, including experimentation plans, owning vendor relationships, and understanding A/B testing platform capabilities.
  • Partner with data team and Lead Marketing Analyst to surface data points and metrics needed to improve segmentation, targeting, and analysis of our customer base.
  • Contribute to planning and execution of channel and product optimization tactics, including ideation, execution, analysis, and refinement.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign and test performance across channels in partnership with Lead Marketing Analyst to understand the effectiveness of strategies and tactics for improving engagement and conversion.
  • Understand the scope and requirements of technical projects, communicate technical and analytical requirements to developers and product managers, create and manage JIRA tickets, and manage post-launch QA and analysis of all digital marketing initiatives.
  • Work with Director, Marketing to define and execute annual digital marketing roadmap, including testing and optimization opportunities, customer acquisition tactics, increasing awareness and adoption of product features, and analytics tools & processes needed to drive better measurement and decision-making.
  • Support email marketing initiatives to identify automation opportunities, set marketing automation strategy goals, and measure and communicate results.
  • Demonstrate a firm understanding of SEO-friendly web product development with an analytical mindset, excellent communication skills and an eye for great customer experiences. 
  • Partner with Lead Marketing Analyst on budget, creative and copy development, and strategy for paid media campaigns.
  • Understand analytics capabilities such as Google Analytics tracking pixels, UTM parameters, and Google Tag Manager deployment, and partner with Lead Marketing Analyst on implementation.
  • Stay informed of digital marketing and SEO trends and make recommendations on new tools, techniques, and technologies.
  • Works cross-channel and cross-region on growth marketing campaigns and promotions, ensuring copy, creative, and tone are on-brand and audience targeting, tracking and analysis are accurate.
  • Create marketing materials, communicate with stakeholders, and present strategies and results.

Qualifications & Attributes:

Attributes

  • Looking for a marketing professional with strong communication skills and the ability to create and implement engaging marketing strategies across various platforms, who is also comfortable with marketing tools and CRM software.
  • A creative and collaborative individual capable of working with multiple teams, meeting deadlines, and maintaining organization.
  • Must have a genuine passion for understanding and marketing products, an enthusiasm for product development, and an eagerness to learn about our specific users and industry.
  • Industry knowledge in TV/film production is a plus, but a strong interest in diving into product development within this sector is highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a product management, digital marketing or growth marketing role.
  • Strong, flexible writing skills, including website copy, ad and sales copy, and translation of developer notes to user instructions.
  • Experience with SaaS in a mixed B2C and B2B environment; familiarity with growth marketing for subscription-based products is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager implementation.
  • Comfortable with JIRA, Smartsheets or similar project management software. 
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to draw insights from large quantities of data.
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely) and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience with BI platforms and dashboard development.
  • Experience with SEO and content marketing.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and able to effectively document and communicate technical requirements to remote teams.
  • Problem-solver with a sense of urgency to quickly execute, test, and optimize.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or related field preferred.
