Talent Acquisition Team is Hiring a Learning and Development Associate Near Indianapolis, IN

Position Title: Learning and Development AssociateLocation: RemoteStarting Pay for position: $55-75k base per year (DOE) We are seeking a passionate Learning and Development (L&D) Associate to support the growth and development of our external sales team and internal sales leadership team. As an L&D Associate, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals enhance their skills and knowledge of sales, sales processes, systems and tools available for their professional development. You will work with the existing L&D team to assess company-wide L&D needs, and help to drive training initiatives that meet our ongoing goals and strategies for success. Strong communication skills are essential in effectively guiding stakeholders through their learning journey. Your ability to partner with internal and external team members will be instrumental to the success of the program and overall goal attainment. Collaboration is a key moniker of this role, as well. Our sales team works with multiple departments, and initiates processes that span across the entire organization. You will have the opportunity to learn, assess and educate on these processes and systems, as well as take part in their ongoing evaluation and effectiveness. On a weekly basis, expect to wear multiple hats and communicate the L&D needs and resources to various departments; this includes coordinating with Finance, HR, Marketing, Sales and Operations/Production. By providing training and development opportunities, you will contribute to our company’s success and ensure that our employees are equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles. L&D Associate Primary Responsibilities: Research, learn and understand general and company specific L&D practices in order to meet organizational, departmental and individual development needsLead and manage the logistics of trainers, venues, travel, accommodation and facilities for L&D events where necessary Communicate course requirements with trainers, facilities, learners and external suppliers with agreed timelinesProvide a reliable point of contact for all learning and development mattersCoordinate internal resources with other departments, and communicate process and development requirements as necessary across the org. Where necessary, assist in delivering and/or execute L&D modules and coursesEnsure staff attend internal and external learning events to meet internal or legal requirements and wider L&D strategyProduce reports on learning and development activity using agreed performance indicators and metricsModify, curate and manage modules, tools & resources in the LM (Learning management) softwareProduce and maintain accurate records of learning and development activity in compliance with team processes and proceduresMonitor and collate L&D evaluation formsSupport the L&D team in achieving their development goalsManage the learning and development calendarProvide administrative support to staff and managers in the planning and delivery of L&D events and strategyProvide administrative support to the wider sales team where required As an L&D Associate, you will need to be highly organized and an excellent communicator. Here are some of the skills and personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role:Experience of using IT based records management/database systems including accurate data inputtingNumerical ability and problem solving skills Good office-based admin skills, ideally in an L&D or Sales Operations environment Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team Discretion, with an understanding of the need for confidentiality at all times General understanding of L&D activitiesThe ability to work accurately, with attention to detail High level of integrity and ability to recognize and correct mistakes and maintain continuous improvements Experience of working with training and development providers Knowledge of where to access up to date learning and development information Knowledge of Data Protection Qualifications:Bachelor's degree; Ideally in business, HR or education, but not required.
