HR Administrative Assistant - Full Time - Easley (SC), United States

Join our Industry team within Flow Equipment division in United States as HR Administrative Assistant to help us to the next level.

Your main tasks and responsibilities :

  • Managing any facility visitors by connecting them with their hosts, handling incoming calls to the facility and routing them to the appropriate department or individual and taking messages, as needed
  • Providing direct support for the full cycle recruiting process including : Posting jobs and screening candidates Scheduling candidate interviews and reserving interview rooms Coordinating post-offer onboarding activities such as physicals, background checks, and drug screenings Managing the new hire checklist and preparing personnel files for new employees Preparing employee badges
  • Maintaining monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual employee recognition programs
  • Developing content for and posting to the plant communication channels
  • Planning and executing employee events
  • Maintaining filing systems, electronic and otherwise, ensuring accuracy and completeness. This includes employee lists, building evacuation plans, event plans, etc.
  • Overseeing supplies inventory by using lean systems to ensure adequate supplies are on hand to support the needs of team members.

This includes office supplies, uniforms, canteen supplies, etc.

  • Coordinating with vendors for facility access and billing accuracy
  • Updating organizational charts
  • Performing other duties as assigned

What you bring to Sulzer :

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Two-year Human Resources, Business, or related degree preferred.
  • Strong interest in the HR field.
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidentiality.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience including intermediate Excel skills (ex. using formulas, creating tables / graphs, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
  • Aptitude for learning new software and systems.
