Thermal Sprayer-Night Shift - Full Time - La Porte (TX), United States

We are looking for a / an Thermal Sprayer to join our Sulzer team in High Coat .

Your main tasks and responsibilities :

• Thermal Spray Application : Operate thermal spray equipment (such as plasma arc, flame spray, or high-velocity oxygen fuel) to apply coatings onto substrates.
• Robot Manipulation : Operate industrial robots for thermal spray application. Tasks include setting up programs, touching up points, automatic operation, etc.
• Material Selection : Select appropriate materials (metallic, ceramic, or composite powders) based on project requirements and specifications.
• Quality Control : Inspect coated surfaces for uniformity, thickness, and adherence to standards. Make adjustments as needed to maintain a high quality standard.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of coating parameters, material usage, and process details.

To succeed in this role, you will need :

• Ability to learn turbomachinery equipment basics
• Physical ability to work in a shop environment
• Ability to safely operate forklifts
• Be available to work overtime when necessary
• Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
