Who you are

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Onboarding Manager for our self storage products and services. This position is perfect for a highly organized, customer-centric professional eager to ensure our clients' seamless transition to using our innovative self-storage solutions. By working intimately with new clients to grasp their unique needs, providing tailored training on our offerings, and guiding them through the transition process, you will be essential in setting the stage for their success. We are on the lookout for someone who brings to the table excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

What you’ll be doing

You will be responsible for orchestrating an outstanding onboarding experience for clients across our suite of products and services. Here are a few things you might accomplish in the day-to-day, but since we can’t think of everything, don’t hold us to it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the sales and business development team to understand clients’ needs and goals to provide an exceptional onboarding experience based on contracted services.
  • Serve as the primary liaison, delivering seamless support to new clients throughout the onboarding process to foster a smooth transition.
  • Understand the overall standard processes for onboarding to clients to each of StorSuite’s offered products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal StorSuite teams to efficiently set up and optimize self-storage marketing and website solutions, tenant protection plans, third-party management services, and automated tenant communications platforms for new clients.
  • Lead customized training sessions to enhance client proficiency in utilizing our platform and its features, focusing on maximizing the benefits of our suite of self storage services.
  • Monitor client onboarding closely, addressing concerns promptly and identifying opportunities for improvement to deliver a flawless integration experience.
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations to improve our onboarding experiences.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and feedback in our CRM, ensuring continuity and support for self-storage solutions and automated communications platforms.
  • Stay informed on the latest self-storage industry trends and product advancements to continuously improve onboarding experiences and client satisfaction.
  • Provide ongoing support and advice post-onboarding, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor for sustained success in self-storage and related services.

What you will need to do it

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 4 years for experience within the self-storage industry preferred.
  • 4 years previous experience in customer onboarding, account management, or customer service.
  • Strong understanding of self-storage vendor products and services, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual communication tools.
  • Proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and fostering long-term client relationships.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs and willingness to take on new challenges as required.
