SDMI is seeking a Per Diem Front Desk Admitter to join our team and serve as the face of our organization.

A Day in the Life as a Front Desk Admitter:You will greet and interview patients and verify that all ID, insurance cards, and necessary paperwork are in the system. You will also register patients and ensure proper data entry is charted. You will answer phones and assist with questions from patients, doctor’s offices, or patient families. Run Credit Card transactions daily including but not limited to co-payments, deposits, issuing receipts, posting payments and balancing your journal. You will also assist with medical records as needed. You can expect to be scheduled on an as needed basis but no more than 29 hours per week. 

You are an ideal candidate if you…

• Have at least one year of experience in admissions in a hospital or medical office setting 
• Have the ability to multi-task in a high volume office setting 

To ensure success in this role, you must…

• Be at least 18 years of age and a high school graduate or equivalent
• Possess strong customer service skills
• Be detail orientated and willing to assist other departments as needed
• Have the ability to remain calm and professional under all circumstances

You can expect to earn an hourly rate of $16
