Duties
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information as needed
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for multiple individuals
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements
- Perform data entry tasks, including updating records and maintaining databases
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Transcribe notes and documents accurately
- Proofread documents for errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, patients, or customers
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Requirements
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Excellent project coordination skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of general clerical procedures and office equipment operation
- Ability to transcribe notes or documents accurately
- Proficient in proofreading for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist is a plus
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
- Excellent phone etiquette with clear verbal communication skills
