 Your Role and Impact

As a Training Specialist, you will play an integral role in researching, developing, and executing specific business unit training programs that focus on advanced concepts and competencies. You will be tasked with designing, organizing, and implementing training courses by combining creativity, research, and analysis of existing materials. Curriculum planning and enrollment coordination will provide you an opportunity to work with other departmental professionals, clients, and client customers at an interpersonal level. You will also have the chance to collaborate with other talented instructors to lead training and oversee participation. Managing course evaluations and overall productivity will allow you to experience the training on a personal level to assess their efficiency and ability to engage. What You Will Do

  • Research, develop, and design training on company software products and behavioral change management topics that focus on both basic and advanced procedures and competencies.
  • Engage and persuade learners by creating the maximum opportunity to participate and retain knowledge.
  • Conduct virtual or in-person training in small groups or with presentations larger audiences.
  • Organize a training curriculum that honors company ethics and conduct.
  • Evaluate training programs to ensure timely, relevant, and cost-effective content delivery in accordance with program objectives.
  • Assess and analyze training needs, preparing reports to identify gaps, and recommending solutions.
  • Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) for multiple clients.
  • Review existing training material to uncover opportunities in delivery and content as well as basic proofreading.
  • Facilitate custom and specific business unit training programs that focus on advanced concepts and competencies (e.g., leadership development, change management, process improvement); using and adjusting supplemental training materials and activities to support learning transfer.
  • Review and analyze records for training programs, including, but not limited to, course evaluations and associate participation, data, and trends to recommend program changes.
  • May serve as an internal consultant to assist associates and managers in meeting associate development needs and performance objectives.
  • Oversee general administrative duties, such as coordinating enrollment, scheduling class times and locations and sending invitation information to all trainees.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in Education, Public Health, Communications, or Business.
  • 2 years of Training and Development experience required with a strong proficiency in Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Proficient attention to detail and the ability to proofread for grammar, punctuation, and content with a focus on professional written and verbal communication.
  • Aptitude for managing client relationships and understanding a consultative needs analysis.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and skilled in facilitation of instructor-led and/or virtual training presentations.
  • Experience performing a training needs analysis, online module development, and managing client feedback during content creation.
  • Knowledge of training and development practice, methods, and instructional design.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects.
  • Skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software applications with knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Monday.com a plus.
