What you’ll do:

• Serve as a primary registration & certification coordinator for one or more of the BDS’s regulatory programs, including reviewing applications, guiding facilities through the necessary steps to obtain or maintain certification, and issuing registrations for a specific subset of 175 Mammography providers, 5000 radiology providers, and 5600 laboratories. This includes daily contact with regulated entities via phone and email.
• Review and process inspection results to assure ongoing compliance for regulated facilities.
• Assist in scheduling, tracking, and monitoring laboratory, radiology, and/or mammography inspections; audit laboratory and mammography paperwork, and monitor for compliance of federal performance contracts. In addition, based on database information, QA data and desired inspection timeframes, contact facilities as needed and assist in planning onsite inspections for field survey staff and 3rd party consultants.
• Assist in generation and review of Quality Assurance and periodic quality audits and report generation for the bureau, to include productivity reports, inspector reports, and statistical performance reports.
• Receive technical inspection packets from field staff, review inspection documents for completeness and uniformity/consistency, as well as to determine compliance with state rules and regulations, cross reference with registration information, and enter key data into the QA survey tracking section of the bureau’s data systems to assure accurate information to set future inspection timeframes.

All you need for success:

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 0-4 years of relevant experience in healthcare, physical or biological science, regulatory compliance, or business (Substitutions may be allowed)
• Preference given to candidates with experience with:
• Regulatory programs,
• Significant experience with Microsoft Access-based database applications.
• Specific experience with BDS’s regulatory programs (Mammography & Radiology Providers; CLIA/Clinical Laboratories)
• Experience in CMS certification & survey programs, and use of the federal CMS Aspen database system (ACO/ACTS), or to online/desktop database management programs.
