The Arizona Lottery is looking for an exceptional Retail Marketing Manager to develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives aimed at driving traffic, increasing sales, and enhancing brand visibility of lottery products within the Lottery's 3,500 retail partner locations as well as the Lottery's four cashing offices. The Retail Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and events that resonate with the Lottery's target audience and drive measurable results.

This position may be available for remote work within Arizona (2 days per week in the office/hoteling).

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for driving foot traffic and increasing sales through effective marketing strategies.
• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communications plans tailored to each retail location, aligning with overall brand objectives and sales targets.
• Plan and implement engaging retailer and clerk promotions, events, and activations to enhance the customer experience and drive brand awareness.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to execute marketing initiatives within budget and timeline constraints.
• Maintain brand consistency and integrity across all retail marketing materials and communication channels.
• Provide training and support to retail staff on marketing initiatives, promotions, and product knowledge to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
• Utilize consumer insights and market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, leveraging data and analytics to optimize effectiveness and ROI.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and innovative marketing techniques to continuously enhance retail marketing efforts.

Requires the Ability To:

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks.
• Identifies business needs and appropriately introduces changes to improve both top-line and game-specific revenue.
• Ability to own and drive implementation of marketing plans for new initiatives or games.
• Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams that include both internal and external lottery partners supporting ongoing marketing initiatives.
• Expected to help with process optimization for the marketing and products team.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in retail marketing or related roles, preferably within the consumer goods industry.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns and promotions.
