$27 - $30 hourly

• Write down treatment information after every visit and ensure patient records include current dental histories
• Support staff with administrative duties such as saying hello to patients, answering phones and making appointments for upcoming dental visits, ordering supplies, and handling billing
• Work with dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures by assisting with dental instruments and assure the patients’ mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist
• Provide patients with oral hygiene advice to make sure they maintain pristine dental care a healthy smile
• Tell patients what oral hygiene steps they need to take in order to prevent infection after dental procedures

• Able to understand the needs of the dental assistant team. Effectively train and have morning huddles to keep an organized back office
• Maintain office inventory and expense reports
• Manage assistant schedule and be present for working interviews
• Ensure the office always has dental assistant coverage

• Must have an associate degree in an accredited dental assistant program
• Have the ability to give patients exceptional care and service
• Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills
• Basic data entry and computer skills
