Accounting Manager

Company Overview:

With over five decades of experience, our client specializes in reconditioning processes for various industries, including oil, petrochemical, marine, hydraulic, and manufacturing. They utilize electroplated hard industrial chrome, sulfamate nickel, HVOF, Plasma, Electric Wire Arc thermal spray coatings, cylindrical grinding & honing, phosphate coating, and media blasting.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Accounting Manager to join our corporate leadership team. The role involves overseeing day-to-day and monthly accounting operations across multiple sites, collaborating closely with the Corporate Finance team, and guiding regional teams in plant locations on various accounting functions.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

· Execute month-end close procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliation, financial reporting, and general ledger management

· Collaborate daily with the Chief Operating Officer to support business decisions, enhance process efficiency, and drive profitability

· Assist in financial planning and analysis, including annual budget development

· Offer guidance to accounting staff on cash flow management, financial analysis, and expense reporting

· Conduct Ad-Hoc analysis to facilitate data-driven decisions aimed at boosting sales and profitability

Qualifications & Competencies:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

· Master’s preferred

· Preferably, a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with 3 years of managerial accounting experience

· Manufacturing industry experience is a plus

· Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and MS Excel/Word/Outlook

· Familiarity with accounting systems and month-end close processes
