Accounting Manager:

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounting Manager to join their team!
Our client is a leading global industrial company specializing in the manufacturing and supply of essential products. Committed to innovation and excellence, our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounting Manager to join their finance team. This role will specifically focus on managing the accounting functions for the Roofing & Stone Divisions.
 
Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations for the Roofing & Stone Divisions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements for these divisions.

• Lead the General Ledger team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.

• Conduct regular reviews and reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the Roofing & Stone Divisions.

• Provide insightful commentary on financial performance and trends.

• Collaborate with divisional leaders to develop and manage budgets and forecasts.

• Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.

• Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of financial information.

• Collaborate with global finance teams to share best practices and streamline processes.

• Serve as the main liaison with independent auditors during the annual audit process.

• Provide necessary documentation and explanations to support audit inquiries.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the accounting functions.

• Implement best practices to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

• Lead team while providing feedback related to performance, coaching to overcome obstacles, and assist with establishing goals.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA and/or CPA certification preferred.

• 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, both in the public and private sector is required.

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, particularly with diverse product lines preferred.

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with external audits.

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Proficiency in Excel and computerized accounting systems (SAP preferred).

• Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management.

• Proven leadership and team management skills.
