Soil Retention Systems, Inc. is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Carlsbad, CA

We are an engineering firm and manufacturer of concrete products. We need an experienced, self-motivated administrative assistant/customer service specialist to join our team. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, great communication, organizational skills, and excellent time management to keep our office running smoothly.
The ideal candidate would be able to:
  • Oversee and support day-to-day administrative tasks and ensure the office is operating smoothly
  • Contributes support to all office employees and construction crew
  • Answer multi-line phone system, take messages, and receive incoming calls regarding our products and services
  • Performs clerical duties such as sorting mail, filing, typing, and operating a variety of general office equipment.
  • Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, reports, and other correspondence
  • Order and keep an inventory of office supplies as needed
  • Manage all needs for the building, vendors, and office equipment
  • Greet office visitors, prepare conference room for meetings
  • Oversee company calendar
  • Run local errands
Qualifications needed:
  • 3 years of work experience in an administrative/customer service role
  • Construction experience preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize
  • Must be a self-starter and driven
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
This will be M-F 8 am-5 pm Full time, in-office position
