FINANCIAL ANALYST About the Role Specialized Property Management (SPM) is seeking a Financial Analyst to support our finance, capital, and operations functions. SPM's corporate offices are in Dallas, TX, however this position is a remote opportunity. This position will report directly to the company CFO. The Financial Analyst will assist with financial planning and modelling exercises, monthly results analysis, support operational issues, and provide key client analysis and support. The ideal candidate will be a highly analytical self-starter who enjoys fast-paced environments while possessing excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills along with a high degree of attention to detail. Responsibilities - Assist with financial modeling, diligence, and market/competitive analysis, to support future investments and growth - Perform complex financial valuation and pro forma modeling - Provide monthly and quarterly financial results and variance analysis diagnostics - Prepare materials for strategic leadership and executive management - Cross-functional collaboration to provide accurate and timely strategic analysis - Assist management in efforts to inform long-term and strategic decisions - Assist with creations of pitch books and deal materials, including management, investor, and lender presentations - Synthesize key operational and financial data in support of OKR metric targets - Support information and special project requests About You - Highly detail oriented and organized work - Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills - Proficiency in mining, analyzing, and translating data into meaningful reports - Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively across all levels of the organization and with external clients and stakeholders - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in finance or economics - Understanding of advanced financial concepts - Strong analytical and modeling skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with PowerBI preferred About Specialized Property Management Specialized Property Management has become one of the fastest growing real estate management providers in the industry, now with locations serving single-family rental investors in Texas, Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.
