Position Overview

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for a full range of financial analytics and financial process implementations. This role will be primarily focused on developing and growing the FP&A roles and responsibilities across LGE and its affiliates. The Financial Analyst will help with various projects pertaining to trend analysis, forecasting, profitability, and reconciliation. This role will support the rollout of new technologies across the company, providing perpetual training and documenting workflows. This role will be responsible for the monthly rolling budget and executive reports for various business units. This role will also be involved in the development of various financial workflow improvements, implementation of new software companywide, requiring interfacing with external departments and teams. This is a diverse, wide-ranging role that will have the opportunity to work with numerous departments and entities. The Financial Analyst will report into and work closely with the Vice President of Accounting and Finance.

Functions of Position

Tasks and Duties Include:

• Partner with the departments across the Design Build teams to create and manage a service-oriented function that provide solutions for business challenges, including a full range of financial and project analysis, communication support, periodic reporting, reconciliations, and project revenue and cost forecasting.
• Research, recommend, and lead implementation of accounting ERP and project financial systems
• Optimize, educate and document workflows across departments for newly implemented software
• Continually develop financial metrics and planning workflows to provide insight for management decision making
• Maintain and develop system databases for trend analysis and various department KPIs
• Prepare monthly rolling reconciliations and reports for construction and design teams
• Construct and lead monthly budget meetings to isolate financial risk and opportunities across the various LGE teams.
• Isolate and support accounting team in issue identification and resolution
• Aid in the preparation of the various monthly management reports and presentations for LGE and other entities
• Review and assist in various accounting and budget related issue resolution workflows
• Support the accounting close by preparing monthly journal entries, account reconciliations and WIP generation on an as needed basis
• Responsible for accounting and finance involvement of sales CRM and accounting ERP systems to included tracking monthly sales, backlog analytics, and custom financial reports
• Ad hoc analysis and accounting support for the various entities

• Must hold Bachelor Degree in either Accounting or Finance. Master's degree or advanced degree preferred.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, VBA, SQL and Crystal Reporting

Reporting

The Financial Analyst will report to the VP of Accounting & Finance.

Evaluation

Annual review by the Vice President of Accounting and Finance to include peer input. Review will be based on the following items:

• Evidence of how you demonstrate company's values

• Ability to perform and execute on workload
• Ensure the highest level of accuracy and quality around LGE's FP&A function
• Ability to problem solve and resolve issues decisively
