About us

Sly Fox Investigations is an award-winning, Private Investigation agency in Baton Rouge that provides surveillance for Insurance Fraud, Child Custody and Infidelity cases. We are an international brand featured on radio and television shows. We are looking for a qualified candidate to be the initial point of contact in our client's experience with us, and to assist us with daily administrative duties.

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and organized Receptionist/Office Assistant to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and creating a positive impression for visitors and callers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, administrative skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

- Answer phone calls in a professional friendly manner, take messages, consult clients, book appointments and direct calls to the appropriate person

- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, invoices and deliveries

- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently

- Assist with administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, social media, investigative reports and videos and scanning documents

- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary

- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members and investigators

- Assist and provide support with marketing efforts

- Provide general administrative support to ensure company compliance

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in office management is a plus

- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role

- Proficient in using computerized systems such as QuickBooks for data entry tasks

- Strong typing skills with excellent accuracy

- Familiarity with administrative tasks and office procedures

- Knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) is preferred

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively

- Attention to detail with excellent proofreading abilities

This position requires a professional individual who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
