Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Salon Assistant/Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our salon, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our clients. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within the salon industry.

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients warmly and provide them with a positive salon experience
- Schedule appointments and manage the salon's booking system
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services and products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon
- Assist stylists and technicians with various tasks as needed
- Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Educate clients on services, hair care, and retail products
- Sanitate tools and workstations to ensure a clean and safe environment

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong leadership skills, to take intuitive to accomplish a common goal
- Proficiency in using salon management software
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the salon and reception area
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills to address client concerns or issues

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
