Sealink’ s group of companies consist of:

  1. Asset based LTL carrier in Texas – daily services between Houston, Dallas and San Antonio with new routes to OK and Louisiana starting shortly.
  2. Asset based drayage operator in Houston, TX and Dallas, TX
  3. Warehouse operator outside the port at La Porte, TX with transloading, warehousing and e-commerce capacity and warehouse in Dallas, TX
  4. Asset based overweight and hazmat certified drayage company
  5. NVOCC – non asset based with 7 offices in India and 1 office in Vietnam (China offices opening in Q3 of 2022)
  6. Domestic freight forwarder / non-asset broker

Your Role & Responsibility With our innovative and convenient approach to freight, and our unwavering dedication to our customer’s success, we are excited to welcome new customers to our family and help them grow with us. This is where you come in:

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our growing team. As a BDE, you will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, assessing client specific needs, promoting, and selling Sealink International Inc. services, and maintaining sales goals and objectives.

Key Duties & Responsibilities. 

  • Outside Sales - build your own book of business through cold calling, face-to-face meetings, networking, and closing new deals
  • Conduct sales pitches and presentations with nationwide customer accounts.
  • Develop and execute a business plan that will generate hyper revenue growth and exceed the sales quotas set by the company.
  • Have continuous engagement with your customers to maintain close relationships and ensure ongoing success with accounts.
  • Prospecting, calling, quoting, meeting, and following up with potential clients.
  • Cross selling and upselling to accounts, closing business with new products and routes.
  • Updating and maintaining CRM.
  • Providing quotes for current and prospective clients.
  • Responsible for securing and maintaining new business.
  • Monitor international freight forwarding market trends and conditions.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding.
  • Experience in sales is a strong asset.
  • Experience in Logistics, Profit and Loss, and FFWs (Freight Forwarders and Agents) in the North American markets.
  • Excellent communication skills, and able to effectively communicate internally and externally. 
  • Sound organization, prioritization and decision-making skills
