Position Summary:
The Assistant Project Manager will assist in supervising construction projects in any establishment, from the start of the project to its completion. This entails making sure that projects are completed on time within constraints, whether budgetary or otherwise.
Essential Functions:
- Assists with coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Assists with ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Monitors resource availability and allocation
- Assists in developing a detailed project plan to track progress of project
- Reports and escalates matters to management as needed
- Communicates and maintains comprehensive project documentation
- Assists with sending and tracking submittals
- Establishes and maintains relationships with third parties, vendors and both internal and external clients
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. MS Project a
- Construction software experience preferred
Experience & Education:
- College degree in a related field (construction management, engineering) a
- Experience in the construction field in project management or similar role

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel to and ambulate at construction sites
- Use of computer both visual and keyboard
