They have been in business for over 30 years and have gained a great reputation across the ground-up/renovation residential market, predominantly affordable housing in New York City. The projects they focus on are in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn and range anywhere from $5M - $100M.

About the opportunity

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is hungry for career progression. This is an Assistant Project Manager position with the opportunity to progress into a Project Manager then an Assistant Project Manager.

About the role

• Assist PM in developing project schedules/critical path analysis.
• Create, maintain, and update project directories.
• Maintain/update logs for Submittals, RFI’s, and Change Orders throughout the duration of assigned project.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage selected subcontractors and vendors.
• Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements.
• Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program.
• Attend job meetings and site-visits periodically and review all weekly job minutes to stay in-tuned with assigned job progress.

The type of projects you will be working on will range in value between $5M - $100M. These could be affordable housing occupied renovations or ground up affordable housing.

You will be rewarded with a salary ranging between $95,000 - $115,000 a full benefits package on top.

Requirements

I am looking for someone who has a Bachelor of Science, ideally in either an engineering or construction course. It is important you have at least 3 years of experience for a New York City based General Contracting, having exposure to residential projects.
