JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate for the Project Manager position will have required proficiency in the following job duties. Work includes installation of steam and hot boiler plants, heat exchangers, hot water generators, cooling systems including, chillers, air/water-cooled package and split systems, ductless split systems, steam and hot water piping and related control systems.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with other Project Managers, Administrative Assistants and office staff to ensure work is being delivered on schedule and is meeting customer expectations.
Responsible for project delivery and will communicate with Senior Leadership to mitigate risk affecting estimated profit margin.
Must have excellent written, verbal, and consultative communication skills with the ability to successfully interpret and communicate business needs between internal and external groups in a clear, focused, and concise manner. Must be able to have difficult conversations with clients while maintaining customer courtesy and professionalism.
Ability to plan, lead and execute daily operations for optimal efficiency. Must have excellent time management & organizational Skills. Must be flexible, dependable, and able to multitask.
Effectively utilize and forecast branch manpower, management requirements and ensure proper manpower and skill levels for the successful and profitable execution of the business on a weekly basis.
Escalates potential change order opportunities to the attention of Senior Leadership for strategic direction.
Support the office to develop estimates for work.
Supervise and provide leadership to personnel assigned to work / projects. Must be able to manage, understand and work with union personnel.
Report to Senior Leadership on a daily basis and be prepared to communicate project status, schedule and project financials (including A/R & A/P).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· High School Diploma - College Degree Preferred.
· 10 years’ experience in Mechanical Systems, including but not limited to Boilers, Heating Systems, HVAC, Controls, Electrical Power Wiring Knowledge is not required but is plus.
· Proficient with all Microsoft Office products including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
· Must be familiar with working with / populating AIA documentation.
· Familiar with Microsoft SharePoint
· Bilingual in Spanish not required but is a plus.

· OSHA Certifications
· Refrigerant Handling Licenses
· Small Asbestos Abatement Projects.
· Confined Space Training.
· Respiratory Protection / Respirator Requalification.
· Occupational Exposure to Lead.
· Hazard Communications
· Hazardous Materials Transportation.
