Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity, leadership skills, and passion for food. Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise the kitchen staff, including cooks and other kitchen workers - Plan and create menus that meet the dietary requirements and preferences of our customers - Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards - Ensure that all food preparation and cooking processes adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed - Collaborate with the management team to develop new dishes and improve existing recipes - Oversee banquet and catering operations, ensuring timely delivery of meals for special events - Train new kitchen staff members on proper cooking techniques, food handling procedures, and safety protocols - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment Skills: - Proven experience working in a culinary role, preferably in a restaurant or catering setting - Strong knowledge of food service management principles and practices - Excellent culinary skills with expertise in menu planning, recipe creation, and food presentation - Ability to effectively manage a team of kitchen staff members, providing guidance and support as needed - Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in food preparation and presentation - Knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to accommodate special dietary needs - Proficient in using kitchen equipment and tools If you are a talented Chef with a passion for creating delicious meals, we would love to hear from you.
