Shepard Construction & Development, LLC is Hiring an Administrative and Accounting Assistant Near Hingham, MA

On-site, 5 days, flexible schedule.

We're seeking a motivated, detailed-oriented individual to join our team as Administrative and Accounting Assistant. We're a thriving construction company committed to excellence in every project we undertake. Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to management and team members.
  • Answer phone calls and general emails.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with project documentation and filing.
  • Coordinate meetings and events.

Accounting Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Process subcontractor invoices in QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Timesheet tracking through Clockify.
  • Ensure collection of W-9 and certificates of insurance.
  • Maintain database of COIs to ensure certificates are up to date.
  • Work with project managers to ensure timely coding of invoices.
  • Receive customer payments, bank runs and check deposits.
  • Credit card reconciliations.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • QuickBooks experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in administration or accounting preferred.
  • Knowledge of construction industry practices is a plus.
  • Associate degree or certification equivalent.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
