SEV1TECH is Hiring a Remote Project Manager
Overview/ Job Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for end-to-end development and delivery of program solutions that meet evolving business needs. This includes specification of the service offerings, customer and field team interactions and the development of those services for delivery. The following is expected:
- Conducting site surveys and developing site survey reports for delivery to the customer.
- Identifies problems requiring vendor assistance and coordinates vendor technical support.
- Requires user proficiency with PC hardware, standard software, and specialized applications, and effective oral and written communication skills to explain technical situations, present information, and provide user guidance.
- Must have knowledge of the office suite and desktop applications.
- Create an environment of teamwork, efficiency, cross training, and continuous improvement.
- Provide end-to-end program leadership from planning to business readiness/rollout.
- Define and track business and development milestones on a program level.
- Track and communicate dependencies on a program level.
- Manage risks, issues, change control and decision logs for the program.
- Communicate and manage project status to internal project teams and to those in the executive level.
- Track and manage program spend against budgets.
- Interact with stakeholders for spending needs/budget changes.
- Work closely with installation teams to ensure proper adherence to schedule.
- Leverage stakeholder relationships and technical expertise to enable or make key decisions.
- Identify strategic milestones in concert with business and/or mission stakeholders and tie work packages to milestones.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen and Hold a U.S Government SECRET security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI Eligibility
- Minimum of 4 years’ working experience leading teams in a relevant industry
- Experience working on projects in a SCIF or Secure Data Center
- Experience scheduling projects on a complex, fast-paced, construction/installation project
- Experience identifying facility shortcomings
- Prior experience managing field teams in complex technical environments
- Confidence in driving people to deliver objectives
- Experience managing large-scale projects in secure spaces
- MS Project / MS Office
- Technical Delivery Management experience a plus
- Experience in enterprise environments
- Must have the proven ability to lead a team of Technicians and/or vendors.
- Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Proven ability to package and communicate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical people through presentations or written material.
- Demonstrated experience in Material Procurement, project oversight, safety, status reports, installation on federal projects.
- Demonstrate understanding of ACS, IDS, CCTV, PA components and installation requirements to include the ability to plan all phases of the installation.
- Ability to coach and mentor junior personnel.
- Demonstrate leadership support for technical training.
- Must be willing and able to work as a mission essential worker 100% of the time.
- Must be willing to travel 10% of the time.
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred - Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science, Math or Engineering) or equivalent.
- Experience with Navy Shore Platform Installation Handbook.
- Knowledge of Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) physical security system Access Control Enforcer (ACE) and its integration with ACS.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Possess a passport.
