Overview/ Job Responsibilities

Be a part of the only operationally deployed missile defense program capable of defending the entire US homeland. Use your Systems Engineering and Analysis knowledge and experience to integrate, test, sustain and protect the safety of our families, neighbors, communities, and nation.

• Develop, deliver, and maintain Missile Defense Agency (MDA)’s Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Threat Data Generation Requests on the Integrated Digital Design Environment (IDDE).
• Plan and execute analyses utilizing GMD High, Medium, and Low Fidelity Modeling and Simulation (M&S) products.
• Plan and execute analyses in MDA’s analysis labs.
• Maintain and sustain interoperability with MDA’s analysis labs for the development of integrated GMD Element analysis products.
• Develop, deliver, and maintain analysis tools with associated source and executable code used for GMD Element analyses in the GMD Element Digital Model.
• Develop, deliver, and maintain analysis tool design documentation, benchmarking and anchoring test data, third party software, and compilation files on the IDDE.
• Develop, deliver, and maintain GMD Element Analysis Tool User and Installation Manuals on the IDDE.
• Develop, deliver, and maintain data manipulation, extraction, and analysis scripts used for GMD Element analyses in the GMD Element Digital Model (EDM).
• Develop, deliver, and maintain data report generators and/or copies of Government/Commercial/Military Off-the-Shelf tools used for GMD Element analyses in the GMD Element Digital Model (EDM).
• Provide quick response analysis requests from the Government as required.
• execute GMD Element Analysis and Assessment Working Groups with the Government.
• Develop, deliver, and maintain the GMD Element Analysis and Assessment Working Group packages on the IDDE.
• Deliver the GMD Element Analysis and Assessment Working Group minutes on the IDDE within three (3) working days of the review.

Minimum Qualifications

• MUST BE US CITIZEN and have an Active Secret Security clearance to start 
• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or 1-3 years of experience in engineering analysis 
• 3 years’ experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining physical and virtual RedHat Linux systems in large secure enterprise environments, emphasis on RHEL 7 and 8.
• 3 years’ experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining physical and virtual Microsoft Windows Server in large secure enterprise environments.
• Experience in software development testing or programming software; especially MatLab, Python, and C/C
• Experience in definition and development of Technical Performance Metrics (TPM)
• Experience conducting verification, test, and data analysis/statistics
• Experience in systems engineering collaborating with engineering teams

Desired Qualifications

• CAMEO/DOORS, MBSE
• Low, Medium, and High-Definition Simulation Analysis
