Primary Purpose
The purpose of this internship position is to develop college students that are pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or related course of study. Interns will work with E&C Engineering and be exposed to a variety of projects and activities within the organization. They will have opportunities to apply knowledge and skills learned in college and demonstrate abilities in the work place as well as interact with employees of the organization in support of meeting daily business needs.Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for E&C engineering, including LNG and Low Carbon Solution projects, through direct support to the department subject matter experts. Activities may also include the opportunity to work within one or more project teams for portions of the assignment.
• Assist with the development of department guidelines and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).

Education

• Junior/Senior-level student in an accredited college/university with a degree major in Engineering.

Experience

• Prior coursework or experience with Engineering or construction project management preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to work independently to solve problems or minor tasks without constant direction.
• Ability to be flexible to work with a change in priority and timelines on a variety of tasks and projects.
• Ability to write and speak English fluently and professionally. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, AutoCad, Gas Hydraulic Software, GIS databases.
