Job Summary:
This Houston based internship will be actively participating in a variety of technical and non-technical support of the organization’s engineering needs.
Detailed Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform product research.
  • Participate in production and test equipment design.
  • Assist in manufacturing process improvement activities.
  • May provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing areas.
  • Maintain engineer lab equipment and other engineering department equipment.
  • Provide technical documentation support to the engineering and manufacturing departments.
  • Participate in Company Quality and Safety systems.
  • Perform all other duties requested, directed, or assigned.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience

In pursuit of a college degree in related to Engineering or Engineering Technology; Minimum 2 years of related coursework, with a GPA of 2.8 or higher. Must have LabView experience. Experience in instrumentation and Solidworks a plus.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical interference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge computer software including basic use of spreadsheet (MS Excel), word (MS Word), and email (MS Outlook) software.

  • U.S. Person for access to EAR and ITAR-Controlled Technical Data.
