We are seeking Engineering Interns to be part of a dynamic team focused on innovating processes within our company. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects aimed at improving efficiency and productivity with cutting edge technologies.

This full-time, paid internship for 10 weeks will provide the intern with hands-on experience in the engineering field.

Role and Responsibilities

• Supports mapping of new processes. Identifies process gaps and recommends process improvement
• Prepare all necessary standardized documents and work instructions for the new automation equipments
• Assists training all operators on new equipments and facilitating new hardware workstation integrations/installations
• Supports interfacing with various department management and functional leads
• Supports user acceptance testing (UAT) for new robots and conveyance equipments
• Review inventory and velocity information to understand methods and activities to optimize warehouse layouts and slotting.
• Support with creating a ram up plan for automation and inventory move planning
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Adhere to all safety and housekeeping guidelines

Skills, Education and Training

• Pursuing BS in Industrial Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering
• Familiarity with MS office (Word, Excel , Powerpoint) required
• Proficient in data analysis
• Familiar with AutoCad Light preferred
• Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere with engineering, operations team and external contractors
• An aptitude for problem solving and willingness to take initiative to understand the business
