The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting the Center for Behavioral Health Children’s Center for Diagnostics & Therapy (CCDT) program staff in a variety of administrative and office support services. Additionally, the incumbent will provide grant writing assistance to the Health Department’s Director of Non-Clinical Operations for the submission of grants, which will expand service delivery and build capacity between Health & Human Services (HHS) programs and foster collaboration between STOF programs. Work involves assignments that require independence in making decisions and obtaining solutions while adhering to and/or operating within established policies, rules and guidelines. The individual prepares a wide variety of documents as directed by the CCDT Program Manager. Provides administrative assistance for patient services, maintains office records and files through Electronic Health Records (EHR), maintains office procedures/policies, and is responsible for bookkeeping/finances of services obtained through CCDT Program. The incumbent provides excellent customer service to all patients and their families.
A minimum of two (2) years of college coursework is required; or, a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related field will be considered. Knowledge of medical and financial terminology is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License, is required. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Incumbent must be able to work independently or within diverse groups. Ability to travel to all Seminole Reservations, and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays, is a requirement of this position.
