Scoops On Tap is a small business experiencing exponential growth, and we’re looking for passionate ice cream enthusiasts to be part of our team!
We specialize in super premium ice creams, currently producing flavors in four unique categories: signature (dairy, non-infused), spirit infused (including our specialty – craft beer ice cream), plant based (vegan) and keto. Our passion is creating exciting, high quality ice creams that everyone can enjoy.
We’ve made a name for ourselves throughout Southern California as a mobile business at street fairs, farmers markets, craft brewery popups and big events such as the L.A. County Fair, The Renaissance Pleasure Faire, and the 626 Night Markets.
Our ice creams have been featured on TV, Radio, and Print organizations: Including Bloomberg, Business Insider, Spectrum News, ABC 7, LA Times, Men’s Health, LAist and more! In 2022 we took home 10 gold medals and 2 silver medals at the LA International Dairy Competition. Our plant based ice creams were named top 10 must try in the nation by Business Insider, and our keto ice creams were named top 9 in the nation by Men’s Health.
We have a production facility in Montclair where we produce ice cream for events, retail outlets, wholesale clients, and nationwide shipping. In 2022, we opened our first brick and mortar store in Covina, expanding the business even further with exciting new opportunities for creativity.
We couldn’t be more excited for the next phase of growth for our business, and we’re just getting started. Big things are in store!
The job:
We are looking for an ice cream production assistant and pastry chef to assist with making our core ice creams, assisting with production runs and helping to create new and exciting ice cream flavors. The production assistant would be responsible for producing a core set of flavors that we sell via retail, event, and wholesale outlets year round.
This position would also be responsible for helping to create and produce a variety of unique, seasonal, custom flavors for special events, catering opportunities and the Covina store.
