Systems Analyst
Job Purpose
The primary role for this position will be as a junior Administrator for our Enterprise Content Management systems, with focus on our OpenText Content Server Platform (Connex and Knox). This role will also be a key player in designing, implementing and supporting corporate collaboration processes under the Digital Workplace portfolio. This position will be working with different teams in the IT organization and with business process owners. Some will involve implementing existing tools to improve business processes, and at times will also involve designing and looking for new solutions to solve business needs.
You will be expected to work closely with Senior system admins, business stakeholders and become a trusted advisor in technology, solutions development and process improvement execution. You will work collaboratively & cross-functionally to support successful execution of all approved and agreed projects.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities
System Administrator role for our corporate Enterprise Content Management Platform, OpenText Content Server.
Initial focus will be on new user setup, project workspace setup and configuration and eventually move on to learning about system administration and platform support.
End User Training
Workflow development and support
Support for document scanning and OCR processes
Support/Troubleshooting, including coordination with vendor support teams as needed.
Performance metric monitoring and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Implement and support corporate collaboration platforms
Measure adoption of collaboration platforms and develop action plans to increase adoption.
Prepare training and adoption material
Partner with Technology teams as required in supporting the launch of processes designed to enhance our vision of a Digital Workplace.
Become a subject matter expert for Sanmina collaboration platforms (G Suite, Videoconference, Enterprise Content Management (OpenText Content Server), Chrome OS, Virtual Desktop platforms, and others).
Education, Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor degree in a related field of study
Experience in a Content Management administration IT role a plus
Ability to leverage existing applications or methods and provide input into the development of new or improved processes
Familiarity with Windows server administration a plus, including knowledge with IIS, Apache, Services and customizing directory permissions.
Strong attention to detail
Strong process oriented skills
Strong interpersonal skills required
Ability to work on strict deadlines
Ability to work independently, and as part of a team as needed
Excellent oral and written communication skills required
Knowledge of Project Management methodologies
Experience with Administration and Support of OpenText Content Server a plus but not required. Internal and vendor provided training will be included.
