Who We Need
?Sable Systems seeks a Data Scientist is seeking a skilled Data Scientist at our headquarters office in Pentagon. Successful Data Scientists demonstrate competency in data analysis, creative, data visualization, statistics, programming, project execution, and critical thinking.

- Demonstrate the ability to frame and scale data problems to effectively analyze, visualize and find data solutions
- Sable Systems seeks a Senior Data Scientist for the Data and Analytics, Data Analytic Solutions
- Team to be responsible for building, developing, and supporting robust, sustainable, scalable, and optimized reusable analysis-ready data sets that are leveraged by the customized analytical tools developed to rapidly conduct analysis, produce actionable insights, and answer business questions enabling stakeholders to execute on portfolio management.
- Provide USMC TAC information for TGET digest
- Support client building Lift data reports, dashboard to help clients tracking the budget and decision making
- Support client with BUS reconciliation project, QAIR PP, and No Show and Denial Travel Report
- Provide Bus reconciliation for MCPRT pre-validation and TMS reconciliation digest.
- Support client with IGC 3 way match data (audit purpose), and generate Cognos report to support clients tracking Theater data.
Your Qualifications
Required
- Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Data Engineering, or a closely related field of study, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Senior Consultant, Senior Data Expert/Analyst, or similar position.
- Must have experience with each of the following: translating business needs into qualitative and quantitative deliverables; translating business needs into ad hoc analytical tasks or data pulls.
- Developing and operationalizing end-to-end processes working with data analytical tools Python; conducting customer analysis to identify trends, patterns and analyze customer Transportation and finance data; evaluating line of business mix at an industry and regional level performing data validation; querying data from multiple databases to build robust and reusable data assets; and communicating complex technical concepts to a technical and non-technical audience
- Must have experience working with Python, Excel, SQL, PowerBI with structured data
- This position requires the ability to receive a security clearance at the Secret level
- You must be a US citizen
- Bachelors degree or higher
- Python experience 5 years
- Power BI experience
- SQL experience
- Expert in excel
- Experience working in USMC Transportation and Finance industry
- Familiar with USMC Accounting system DAI, Advana and Qlik applications
