Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a Lead Cyber Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Annapolis Junction. Responsibilities:
Looking for a Lead Systems Engineer who has experience being a liaison with customers for the purpose of capturing and tracking system requirements and activities. Able to curate technical content, foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and coordinate and develop quality responses to customer leadership actions and requests (via documentation, presentations, and graphics). Analyzes user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Manages system requirements and leads design and development activities for the program. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Serves as engineering team liaison for communications to/from Program Management, Solution team, Operations, customers, and other functional organizations. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Basic Qualifications:
* Must have a current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph through the MD customer and the latest polygraph must be less than 5 years old. Full clearance is required to start on program.
* 20 years' of experience as a System Engineer / Engineering Leader in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
* Experience in performing and providing technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, and performing technical/nontechnical assessment and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis.Preferred Qualifications:
* Rapidly builds rapport and trust with customer organization through project-focused collaboration.
* Technical leader capable of leading large team(s) of dozens of engineers.
* Serves as organization spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs.
* Acts as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
* Prior experience on Agile teams.
* Understanding of containers and DevOps tooling.
* Prior experience leading teams.
* Prior experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing requirements.Salary Range: $223,600 - $335,400 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
